  1. What big event is the motivation for practicing patience? Have you thought about this connection before? What are the two aspects of patience? How do we practice it? Keep all this in mind as you reflect on this message.
  2. James uses a farming analogy to illustrate the value and work of patience. Can you think of your own analogy. Why is patience so important? What happens while we practise it?
  3. What kind of impact does patience have on life in the Christian fellowship (congregation)? Consider how this practice will benefit the life of your congregation.
  4. Job is used as an example of the fruit of patience. What is Job\u2019s conclusion to his story? How can you enter suffering differently with this knowledge? What does it mean that Job and the prophets are considered blessed?
