Many of us live lives of barely controlled anxiety. We worry about money, our jobs, our kids, our future. There's always a dull ache in our soul about what could happen "down the road." But the thing is, if we're in Christ we know that He will never lose us, never forsake us and that all things will work together for our good. This is amazing news and should help us, comfort us and give us great peace.
The great danger is, therefore, not what can happen to us but our moving into fleshly habits of greed and/or lust. All false teaching will lead us away from the reliance on Scripture as our final standard of authority and into habits of sin.
