Glenn Du Toit was appointed General Manager of Acer Africa in April 2020. Prior to this, he served as Head of Consumer Business in Acer Africa overseeing the expansion of Acer's business into the African market.\n\nIn 2014 Glenn was the founder of MyDigitalMunicipality an online platform to assist municipalities in the area of service delivery. In 2015, Glenn joined Acer Africa and has been involved in various IoT related entities including CloudProfessor, Acer\u2019s innovative education tool and Acer\u2019s ABS IOT signage division. Glenn has extensive experience in consumer-related industries including a tenure at Sony and a period in consumer retail including the global sourcing of various consumer goods.\n\nGlenn has a Batchelor\u2019s Degree in Information Technology Architecture from the Technological University of Dublin and a Professional Certificate in Computing and Behavioural Economics\nfrom Boston College in the USA.\n\nHaving gained extensive experience throughout his career in the consumer electronics industry in areas such as operational and purchasing management, marketing and demand creation,\ninternational sourcing and supply chain management Glenn has applied these extended skills to his role as General Manager at Acer bringing new thinking and leadership to empower his team to grow\nAcer into an industry thought leader in education, retail, eSports and enterprise edge solutions.\n\nGlenn has the drive to empower his team to make a difference, each day, pushing each individual to build both personal and Acer\u2019s brand value proposition.
