There is speculation about the Antichrist. Who is he? When will he manifest himself? Will he be a political or religious leader? But as we look into the writings of John we begin to see a pattern emerge. Perhaps the Antichrist is not a person but a greater manifestation of evil. Perhaps it is as large as an entire global organization. It is clear that the church is symbolically represented as a woman in travail. Why not then the Antichrist be symbolically represented by a man. If this is the case, and the Antichrist is indeed the secret society of men; then his reign has begun and the end is even more near than we first anticipated. It is at our very doorsteps.
