IN THIS EPISODE: Tonight, it\u2019s an episode from November 25, 1949 \u2013 \u201cThe Spiral Staircase\u201d with Dorothy McGuire who also starred in the film version in 1946, from which this radio adaptation is based. In a small village the\xa0mute\xa0Helen attends a\xa0silent film\xa0screening in the parlor of a local inn. During the screening, a woman staying at the inn is murdered in her room; the latest in a string of killings\xa0in the community.\xa0And that\u2019s just how the story begins!
