We\u2019ve all been distracted, right? It\u2019s so easy sometimes to let outside influences pull us away from something we should be doing. But what about the times we\u2019re distracting ourselves and don\u2019t even know it?

Sometimes a task may seem really important, but it\u2019s actually just a way of buffering or neutralizing negative emotions. So today, I\u2019m going to tackle this topic and explain why we distract ourselves, how to recognize when this is happening, and how to get to the root cause of the issue in order to get yourself back on track.
