A while back, I was in a conversation with someone who was really frustrated with God. He was telling about how he had tried the "God thing" and had discovered that God was not really of any benefit to his life. He asked, "Why should I live for God? What has He done for me lately?" I think if you and I are honest with ourselves, there have been moments where those same questions have gone through our heads. For the people of Malachi, they most certainly did. Those people questioned God's goodness. They said, "God, what have you done for me lately?" On Sunday, we are going to gather together and finish up our series in the book of Malachi. And we are going to see -- even in the darkest of times , when it seems to us like God is of NO benefit to us -- that our God still saves! It will be a great morning to gather as the body of Christ. I can't wait to see you then! P.Dave
