The beauty of the Gospel is found, not in what we do, but what in Christ did for us. Through faith, we do not have to earn acceptance based on our actions. Instead, we are accepted based on Jesus' actions. So much of the Gospel has to do with rest. But often times we Christians think, "what now?" Through the cross, we have been accepted as children of God, but what do we do now? That is the question that we are going to try to answer in the month of August. Each Sunday, we will add a different dimension to the kind of behavior that typifies accepted children of God. I hope you will be challenged and encouraged through God's Word.
