I am amazed at the number of people who play fantasy football. Three years ago, Pastor Jeff talked me into joining the WCC league. Now that I understand FF, I am amazed at how many conversations it fosters. There is a common ground amongst FF enthusiasts, and most often I find that I can share my FF misery with almost anyone. Sometimes, being a follower of Jesus, it feels like that kind of common ground is missing with the people of this world. Could anyone understand the kind of Kingdom-up-side-down living that comes with the message of the cross? This Sunday, we're going to see how Paul develops a common ground with a godless world so that he can talk about the goodness of Jesus. This is a really fun passage.
