In the early days of my pastoral ministry, I used to have a recurring nightmare. In my dream, I was standing up in front of the church getting ready to preach, when it occurred to me that I\u2019d forgotten to prepare a sermon. At that moment, I\u2019d usually awake in a panic! If you\u2019re like me, you hate to be unprepared for a task. But as agents of God\u2019s kingdom, so many of us are exactly that - unprepared. We walk through life unaware that God has given us a kingdom task. On Sunday, we\u2019re going to press forward in the book of Acts and see how we can be ready to do God\u2019s kingdom work.
