While a lot of kids in 1981 were watching Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, a syndicated solo series was airing at the same time -- and while it\u2019s less-remembered, it definitely has unique things to offer. In the first episode of Spider-Man (1981), Doc Ock plots to steal the world\u2019s oil, a random bottle of acid saves the day, and Spidey literally water skis with a shark. And yet, it\u2019s still nowhere near as silly as Amazing Friends!
