Look, we didn\u2019t exactly LOVE the Spider Slayers from way back in the first season of Spider-Man: The Animated Series. And we never really cared THAT much about Alistair Smythe. But despite some problems, this Smythe-centric Spider Slayer sequel has some things to enjoy -- like (in theory) the body horror, and a romance subplot where Peter doesn\u2019t act like a total creeper for once.
