In Mississippi and Louisiana, massive flooding have swept both regions â?? thereby triggering emergency declarations to be enforced until mid-September 2016, and even the National Guard to come and intervene. In Puerto Rico, the State Of Emergency was issued so that the U.S. Government could support funding and aid to â??combatâ?? the spreading Zika virus there. Medical staff have also been deployed, along with other rescue aid and services. West Virginia has also been struck with dangerous flooding, with a State Of Emergency declared for much of the state until August 22nd. In California, unprecedented wildfires have not only ravaged many of the homes, but have also catalyzed the state to be placed under a statewide emergency until further notice. Not to mention Florida, who was also under a recent State Of Emergency due to all of the algal blooms.
