Buckle up for an extremely thought provoking conversation!\xa0In this episode Mark Charles, a man of Navajo descent, and I discuss some "unsettling truths". \xa0These truths date back to the 15th century, but continue to infiltrate mindsets today. He has dedicated many years of study to the impact colonialism has had on the Native and African American people. He'll discuss hard traumatic events in history to help educate us.\n\nWhile we don't share all of Mark's opinions and views, it's so important to hear from different voices and seek to understand parts of our history that we don't often learn about in depth. With that said, don't shy away from this discussion and do your research as well. \xa0We like to quote one of our favorite pastors who often says, "eat the meat and spit out the bones".
