It's all Safdie Brothers all the time. We both liked the manic energy of bad people making bad decisions in Good Time. The Safdie's kept pushing the accelerator further and further. Robert Pattinson excelled as a low-life you can't help but root for, and hey, who doesn't like a movie with Necro. Uncut Gems (35:25) hits a lot of the same notes, and they are played to perfection, but it just wasn't our song. The performances, again, are stellar, but the noise of the movie was distracting and, well, annoying. We expect big things from the next Safdie flick.
