Danny Boyle's "Slumdog Millionaire" is probably the best choice of those nominated. The direction was best when the characters were young\xa0 in the slums of Bombay, but it\xa0 bogged down in the second half. Christopher Nolan's\xa0 "The Dark Knight" is a modern day film noir masterpiece that wasn't\xa0 nominated for Best Picture. Matt, comic book movie hater, loved every second of it. Nolan's story telling and visual eye is everything we love\xa0 on this show. \xa0
