\nand pivots on a dime, supple and agile,
\nnot just ploddingly focused forward.
\nLet the rain pour down on your plans.
\nRelax into the poetry
\nof dry earth quenching its thirst.
\nBe unabashed, unhurried,
\nable to simply listen with no agenda.
\nBe meanderingly happy;
\ncontent if the story takes a detour,
\nor diverges the long way around.
\nOnly good can go on, so there\u2019s
\nno reason to be impatient with passivity,
\njust savor each morsel of life as it comes.
\nKnow, feel, and embrace the expanse,
\nand serve better by erasing
\nobstruction and artifice.
\nShine your unselfed better self
\nwith equanimity
\nand bolster others
\nwith your derived
\nstrength and clarity.
\nRemove every hurt or deception
\nwith your minuscule
\ngrain of mustard seed faith
\nmoving mountainous impediments
\nby sending them slinking off,
\ntail between their legs, ashamed.
\nAll while sitting in this rocking chair,
\nwatching the water gushing in rivulets,
\ndrumming out a palliative cadence,
\nsoothing and serenading every heart here
\nwith rounds in three part harmony,
\nin a repeating refrain
\nfull of friendship,
\nrestitution, and joy.
