Orlando is an\xa0Associate Professor of of Hispanic Linguistics at the University of Texas\xa0at Austin where he teaches courses in Portuguese and Spanish. He focuses mainly on business language and the cultural aspects of international business communication. He has many materials about language learning including\xa0Brazil Pod\xa0and\xa0many other resources to learn Spanish and\xa0Portuguese\xa0\nWe talk about his experience on a Mormon mission in Brazil and how that increased his Portuguese abilities. We also talked about how learning new languages can make you less shy when you speak to others. He says that the key is to just have fun and learn what you can with the language. Finally we talk about how there is much more to language than just the grammar and vocabulary.
