Michael Schoettle has forty years of experience working with people managing their careers. As a Partner of Heidrick & Struggles, a leading global executive search firm, he placed executives in client organizations. He then created and co-managed a course and career coaching program for Executive MBAs at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. In addition, he volunteered for five years at the non-profit Chrysalis,\xa0 teaching\xa0 \u201cJob Prep\u201d to felons recently out of prison. Earlier in his career, he worked in sales and marketing for five different business units of Xerox Corporation.
His experiences taught him how people get jobs and the importance of relating well to the
people and culture of the organization and concentrating on the moment and not something in the future.
