A new type of computing is needed to solve exponentially difficult problems we cannot solve today: quantum computers. This technology exploits the mind-bending phenomena of quantum physics. Instead of the classical bits of today's computers, quantum bits possess remarkably unique properties that enable an exponential increase of compute power by adding extra qubits.
