Dark Horse Comic Books was founded by Mike Richardson in 1986!! Dark Horse one of the more recognizable comic book creators in the world today, of course maybe only less recognizable by the GIANT two brands!! In 1988, still riding the wave of the the super successful movie Aliens, came along a comic book to help keep moving Dark Horse forward!\xa0
\n"Aliens\xa0is a\xa0line\xa0of several comic books set in the\xa0fictional universe\xa0of the\xa0Alien\xa0films\xa0published by\xa0Dark Horse Comics\xa0from 1988 forward. The stories often feature the company\xa0Weyland-Yutani\xa0and the\xa0United States Colonial Marines. Originally intended as a sequel to\xa0James Cameron's 1986 film\xa0Aliens, the first mini-series features the characters of Rebecca "Newt" Jorden and\xa0Corporal Dwayne Hicks. Later series also included the further adventures of\xa0Ellen Ripley, with other stories being unique to the\xa0Alien\xa0universe and are often used to explore other aspects of the species, such as their sociology and biology, and also tying into Dark Horse Comics'\xa0Predator\xa0and\xa0Aliens vs. Predator lines."
\nThis comic book is supposed to be a direct sequel to the movie, Aliens, and is the first "original" Alien comic book that was created. It's sometimes known as Aliens: Outbreak, and is written by Mark Verheiden, and drawn by Mark A. Nelson! This series follows Rebecca "Newt" Jordan, and Corporal Dwayne Hicks from the original Aliens movie! They are trying to find the Alien homeworld, and as expected, much chaos ensues!! The comic books are definitely worth the read, but are worth a pretty penny right now, so you should definitely start by finding them online!!\xa0
