Sam Bankman-Fried\u2019s FTX crypto exchange has raised the largest funding round in crypto history. The exchange\u2019s $900 million Series B round included more than 60 investors with valuation of $18 billion.
Cathie Wood's Ark Invest Bitcoin buying spree continued Monday as its $ARKW ETF added 310,000 Grayscale shares worth almost $8 million.
Rothschild Investment Corp has almost quadrupled its indirect bitcoin position since April, showing a \u201cbuy the dip\u201d mentality during BTC\u2019s recent price decline. A filing with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) from July 19 shows that the investment manager's holdings of the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) grew to 141,405 shares in Q2 2021, up from 38,346 in Q1.
Fidelity's crypto study shows "71% of institutional investors surveyed in Fidelity Digital Assets' 2021 Institutional Investor Digital Assets Study plan to invest in digital assets in the future, & more than 90% of investors who expressed an interest expect to have an allocation within 5 years."
