For our penultimate Sullavan episode, two movies widely disparate in tone: John Cromwell's\xa0So Ends Our Night\xa0(1941), the fourth and final Sullavan appearance in an anti-Nazi film (and the second based on an Erich Maria Remarque novel); and\xa0Appointment for Love\xa0(1941), a less bitter\xa0Woman of the Year in which Sullavan revisits her Even\xa0Newer\xa0Woman character from\xa0Next Time We Love\xa0and director William A. Seiter gets to redeem himself for\xa0The Moon's Our Home. Whether paired with a young Glenn Ford making puppy-dog eyes or a befuddled Charles Boyer who's so desperate he uses Eugene Pallette as his love confidant, Sullavan\xa0continues her streak of co-star chemistry.\xa0
