How You See Yourself VS How Others Do

Hey there! In this week’s episode, after my usual tea talk, life update, and faves, I dive into a comparison between how other people view you VS how you do so. I start off by explaining why this is such an important topic, illustrating with the amount of energy we waste on this, how often we hear it, and how it shows us the importance of caution. Then I emphasise that we know ourselves best, which means that we must trust ourselves, remember that people only see a fraction of who we are, and contrasting with an observation that others can point things out which we don’t acknowledge. I move on to describing the balance I seek, and all it implies. Afterward, I give a few simply ways you can reach yourself to stop caring. I conclude with a few main points and close off by reading a review.

To get directly to the content, skip to 15:44

FOLLOW THE PODCAST’S INSTAGRAM: https://instagram.com/theasteapodcast?igshid=r04b2760fkdl
CONTACT ME THROUGH: theasteapodcast@gmail.com (for business inquiries, sponsorships or to tell me what you think about this podcast!)
SEND ME A VOICE MESSAGE: https://anchor.fm/th351a-beaury/message

Check out the things I mentioned in this episode (in order of appearance):

Check out the creator whose courses I love, and was the author of this week’s quote: https://instagram.com/yogalalma?igshid=nf4p0n6j4hj1

Listen to the podcast episode by The Perfectionism Project about going all into your business (on Spotify): https://open.spotify.com/episode/3C5APS1k9TCHY2xMPd8wU1?si=GKa7moPfTkyCvJ2yPg-Ugg

Listen to Unsolicited Advice (on Spotify): https://open.spotify.com/show/3t7NjUNwTzzpunGsgqMXLK?si=n3jw1lvUT_uo55dn2VKg6A

Watch Nayna Florence’s YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/naynaflorence

Here are some quotes I liked from this week’s episode:

18:32: “No matter how good of a person you are, people can always make things up and others will probably believe them”
25:00 “You don’t need to be thrown off when people say incorrect things about you because you know yourself best”
37:13: “Don’t let other people be the chains that don’t let you do what you want”
38:12: “You simply won’t be on your best game all the time, and sometimes people will base their perceptions of you off that”

Thanks for tuning in, have a beautiful week!
