Consistency is key | An interview with Laura Gutierrez

Hey, there! For this month's guest interview, I am joined by one of my most admirable friends: Laura Guti\xe9rrez. We share our respective tea talks (for Lala: red Hatsu tea in an "L" mug, and for me: Jasmine Blossom tea in a pink I love NY mug), and then I introduce my special guest. We discuss memories, habits, priorities, and philosophies in the rapid-fire questions. Firstly, we dive into leadership: what it means, advice, inspiring teams, and setting boundaries. Secondly, we go into doing things well: how Lau masters new activities, deals with laziness, adds "spice" to everything she does, and goes the extra mile. Thirdly, we get to understand Laura's general life views regarding peer pressure, limits, overwhelm, maintaining relationships, what people around her are doing wrong, and her life compass. Finally, Lau asks me her question, recommends a podcast and YouTube channel, and says goodbye.\xa0\nFollow Laura Guti\xe9rrez on Instagram\nFOLLOW THE PODCAST\u2019S INSTAGRAM\nCONTACT ME THROUGH: theasteapodcast@gmail.com (for business inquiries, sponsorships or to tell me what you think about this podcast!)\nSEND ME A VOICE MESSAGE\nCHECK OUT THE DESIGNERS OF MY COVER ART: https://instagram.com/sofiarrublacreative?igshid=1xtsd1w69zkkl\nhttps://instagram.com/cuerpobaldio?igshid=1jq5cb59nm2z\nListen to my other podcast\nSTART YOUR PODCAST NOW BY HEADING TO anchor.fm\nCHECK OUT THE THINGS MENTIONED IN THIS EPISODE (IN ORDER OF APPEARANCE):\nMy episode where I talked about my career ideas\xa0\nAlivia D'Andrea on YouTube\nEl Arranque by El Colombiano on Spotify\nKurzgesagt - In a nutshell on YouTube\nCouch to 5k in 30 days training plan\nHERE ARE SOME QUOTES I LIKED FROM THIS WEEK\u2019S EPISODE:\n"If you work hard enough for something, you will get it even if it's not what you expect"\n"A leader helps others to achieve their goals"\n"Know your non-negotiable hours"\n"You cannot sacrifice a friend because of something academic"\n"Pain is temporary, quitting is forever"\n"I don't have time to be lazy"\n"Why limit yourself?"\n"You need to remember your goals"\n"You need to push yourself to feel that satisfaction"\n"Everything is a reward mechanism"\n"Making yourself believe you're capable of everything is the key to being an ambitious person"\n"I choose to do things well so I don't regret it afterward"\n"I just think of the consequences of each possibility"\n"Know your negotiables and non-negotiables"\n"You're not the only person people can turn to solve problems"\n"A lost grade is better than a lost friend"\n"It's the simple things; let people know you're there"\n"They could be living their best lives, but they just don't want to"\n"If you're listening to other peoples' demands, why can't you listen to your own?"\nThanks for tuning in, have a beautiful week!
