The C.O.W.S. Compensatory Call-In 06/20/20 #BlackSelfCare

The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS The most ominous estival solstice in years begins this weekend. If this week is any indication, it will be a so-called "long hot summer" of ongoing protests and increased White Supremacist violence against black people. Another black male was killed by police, this time Atlanta's Rayshard Brooks. Later in the week, Robert Fuller's half-brother, Terron Jammal Boone, was reportedly killed in a gun battle with California enforcement officers. Fuller's Palmdale, California hanging death is still under investigation and viewed with logical suspicion. The ongoing protests have launched congressional chats on police reforms, the toppling of a number of confederate statues, and the termination of Aunt Jemima syrup and pancake mix. The stereotypical image of a black female was used to hawk diabetic concoctions for over 125 years. In one bright spot, the White-dominated LGBTG movement nabbed another victory from the U.S. Supreme Court, where justices rules that the 1964 Civil Rights Act protects LGBTQ employees. Glad someone got a win this year. #TheSicknessIsWhiteSupremacy INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE 564943#
