Adam McGirr is a Vice President of the British Columbia Scientific Cryptozoology Club and has been studying strange creatures like Sea Serpents and Sasquatch for over 15 years. He has participated in numerous field expeditions and conferences, made several television appearances, as well as interviews in newspapers and magazines on the subject of monsters and mysteries. By trade, Adam is a technical writer and trainer.

The BCSCC takes a scientific, skeptical approach to the investigation of creatures not yet recognized by the scientific community. These include such famous examples as the Sasquatch, Yeti, Ogopogo and the Loch Ness Monster. Their mandate is to understand where these creatures may fit into the greater picture in the realm of natural history.
