Using Empathy As A Tool Instead Of Your Identity

Published: Sept. 7, 2022, 1 a.m.

This week Amber and Austin kick off a month focused on the deeply connected attribute of empathy.

Empathy is an amazing tool that can help you connect with others in times of joy and in times of need.

For some, it's a naturally occurring event. But for many others, it's something that needs to be learned and practiced.

No matter how you come into your empathy, inherent or learned, the capacity to place yourself into the shoes of another - even if only for a brief moment to create a bond of understanding - is an invaluable skill.

Join in as they take a deep dive into:

▸ how empathy can bridge relationships and create deeper connections

▸ the risks of identifying yourself 'as' the attribute and the importance of stepping out of empathy once you become aware of the other's point-of-view

▸ tips and tools for embracing and utilizing empathy without losing your own energetic well-being or point-of-view

A fantastic start to a very complex month of discussions. Join in and share your perspectives. We can't wait to hear from YOU!
