Prior to starting Authentically Yours Design, Jodi had a 20+ year career in HR which gave her the opportunity to travel/visit employees throughout the globe. Throughout her HR career one thing remained her desire to connect with people and inspire them to follow their passions/talents. She also had a love for home design/d cor which lead her to purchase a number of homes in which she painted, remodeled, decorated, and got it exactly perfect - only to sell and move onto the next home! March 2020 and COVID hit and the traveling portion of her HR job came to a HAULTING STOP! So that meant she had more free time in the evenings/weekends to work on PROJECTS and in May 2020, she started a side hustle of painting furniture (in our garage) for friends and family. This little side hustle BLEW UP in September 2020, and she had enough of corporate America - so she left an Executive Level HR career to follow her dreams of owning her own business! Since then, she has opened up a Boutique, participated in many Vendor Markets, and is new to 2023 - home/room renovations/flips. Jodi got married to "her person", Dave, in 2019 - who also is her business partner now.
