Now the Lord had said to Abram:

\u201cGet out of your country,
\n  From your family
\n  And from your father\u2019s house,
\n  To a land that I will show you.
\n  I will make you a great nation;
\n  I will bless you
\n  And make your name great;
\n  And you shall be a blessing.
\n  I will bless those who bless you,
\n  And I will curse him who curses you;
\n  And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.\u201d

So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot   went with him. And Abram was seventy-five years old when he   departed from Haran.

James 2:23 \u201c\u2026\u201cAbraham believed God,   and it was accounted to him for righteousness.\u201d And he was   called the friend of God.\u201d
