After moving his belongings to the mountains, DJ Flip wouldn’t move in with Amarah right away. They were both tempted to sleep together in the same room. DJ Flip wanted to wait until they were married. At first, it didn’t matter to Amarah, but she began to learn more and more about Flip.
DJ Flip owned his radio show in the mountains inside a light weight camper trailer where he felt most comfortable. Sometimes he would travel to important events with the camper. It was mainly his home. The camper is where he slept and ate. However, Flip missed his turntable room and often thought about his magic tricks as a DJ in his spare time. He had his grandstand shows at the State Fair making himself appear and disappear using his turntables, glass, light, mirrors, and cameras on stage. Things never became real, but they made him wonder why it happened before. He kept thinking about the turntable he left in Flip City.
Flip thought: It must be the turntable or maybe the records. Records have words and messages. Words have the power to heal and hurt. I was thinking of my hurt while using my hands to play records. I was caught up in the music to forget my hurt. Could it have been something I have done to make all the illusions real from before?
DJ Flip thought about some things Miss Grady had told him in the past.
Miss Grady: Words have real power. God spoke the world into existence. We are made in God’s image.
Without telling Amarah, DJ Flip left the mountains and made a trip back to Flip City. He checked on Miss Grady and went to his house to look at his old turntable.
Flip went back to the shop where he bought the turntable and told the seller his experience with it.
The seller sent DJ Flip to the man that sold the turn table to him who lived near a roundhouse park in the railway lands. The man was old and he built the turntable. His name was Louis Keystone. He talked in riddles and carried on about a wheelhouse and locomotives. He loved to talk about speed and fast motion. Louis talked about direction and travel.
He went on to say: Boy, you’ve got speed and motion. A lot of things are within you.
Flip: But why did I see the ghost?
Louis Keystone: Perhaps you have a spiritual eye. Some things can’t be explained.
Flip: I meant for him to be an illusion and he got real.
Louis: There are spirits of the air, and they are real. Don’t you read the Bible?
Flip: So you’re saying it’s not the turntable?
Louis: You’ve got strength boy & the ghost knows it too. You’ve got to be strong. He wasn’t after you for nothing.
Flip: He stole my records, and took over my turntable. He’s trapped in another world, and I can’t use my turntable because using it might set him free.
Louis: How did you trap him in the other world?
Flip: I suppose it had something to do with me getting rid of the speed key.
Louis: You’re faster than other human beings to him. You’re special. You can outsmart him. You’re witty & wise. You have an affect on other people through music and in a good way. You’re giving them hope. He knows you’re a hero. You haven’t done nothing wrong.
Flip: We’ll, I certainly can’t have him going around messing with my turntables and having me throw away speed keys.
Louis: Don’t let him control you. The turntable is yours.
DJ Flip thanked Louis Keystone for his encouraging words. He went back to his house in Flip City. DJ Flip took out a blank CD, and he put it on the turntable. He woke up the bad ghost of boogaloo and fought him. Flip had an outer body experience and outsmarted the ghost in fast motion. He took his voice & spirit and casted him and preserved him into a blank CD. That was the night that DJ Flip became Flip Wizard. He put his turntable into his flight turntable case and took it with him to the mountains.
