Sheila set the record straight by sharing that entrepreneurship begins with the heart and mind. The combination of a happy heart and a clear mindset allows us to transition in times when it is needed most. What you love to do can be someone else's lifeline similar to how we see people making masks all over the world.
Then she hit us, all the moms, where it hurts. We deserve to take care of ourselves. That feeling is one that can be overshadowed by guilt, resentment, and even fear. Sheila wasn't having it. In order for us to continue to stay healthy and whole when change happens there have to be some clear boundaries and understanding.
Now more than ever people are being drawn back to true loves and showing appreciation for things and people that were once overlooked. Hey, having six kids and teach you a thing or two.
Sheila's Mompreneur tips:
~ Learn how to relax
~ Make sure self-care is a priority
~ Take time to pour back into you (You can not pour from an empty cup)
~ Become confident about motherhood
~ Be kind in the words that you are saying to yourself
Sheila even gave us a bonus self-care tip:
Soak your feet, journal and pray
