In our fourth week of God in the Movies, we\u2019ll look at the movie, \u201cMcFarland\u201d. Based on a true story, this movie demonstrates the power of community. In a Biblically functioning community, socio-economic barriers fall away; people lovingly encourage, mentor and look out for one another; and, we grow in Christian character. The Apostle Paul, in 2nd Timothy, describes it well: \u201c\u2026for God did not give us a Spirit of timidity, but of power, love and self-discipline.\u201d
