When He had unrolled the scroll, He found the place where it was written:\n18 \n\u201cThe Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,\n because He has anointed Me\n to preach the gospel to the poor;\nHe has sent Me to heal the broken-hearted,\n to preach deliverance to the captives\n and recovery of sight to the blind,\nto set at liberty those who are oppressed;\n19 \n to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.\u201d[e]\n20 Then He rolled up the scroll, and He gave it back to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of all those who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. 21 And He began to say to them, \u201cToday this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.\u201d
