\nTeen Titans is an animated superhero show based on the DC comics of the same name. The show premiered on Cartoon Network on July 19, 2003, where it ran for 65 episodes, along with \u201cThe Lost Episode\u201d special and Trouble in Tokyo TV movie. The TV movie serves as the series finale and aired on September 15, 2006. The series also ran on Kids\u2019 WB.
\nIn the show, the Teen Titans defend Jump City and the world from supervillains such as Slade (Ron Perlman). The core group of Titans consists of Robin (Scott Menville), Starfire (Hynden Walch), Cyborg (Khary Payton), Beast Boy (Greg Cipes), and Raven (Tara Strong).
\nWhile initial reactions to Teen Titans were mixed, it quickly gained a following and critical success. A more comedic spinoff entitled Teen Titans Go! premiered in 2013.
