Downtime and Rest - You are entitled.
Empaths in particular need special time for rest each day. Sit quietly or lie down, whatever works best for you. Be with yourself in solitude.
Listen to special music that evokes images, memories, daydreams, works of the imagination. Choose music that is parasympathetic. There are special tunes and passages that etch into your body/mind systems and are healing and restorative. Go inside the music and become part of it.
Unedited Writing
Be free and unjudgmental as you write and loosen the emotional bonds that have held you for so long. As you write you are releasing. There is an opening to oneself that is profound. Unedited writing brings to the surface unremembered memories, repressed feelings and emotions that you can bring forward, accept and understand. This is all a part of compassionate self acceptance.
