Cabinet has approved seven million dollars to keep Ruapehu Alpine Lifts running. \xa0

It includes a $4.3 million loan to the under-liquidation company. \xa0

Ruapehu Mayor Weston Kirton told Mike Hosking that they're looking forward to a resolution to the ownership issue of the company.\xa0

He says they just want to get this season out of the way and then they'll wait with interest to see what happens.\xa0
