Scott Brown: No matter what the result New Zealand & USA will remain friends
New Zealand and America will remain friends - regardless of which candidate wins the presidency.
That's the message from our US Ambassador, Republican Scott Brown.
He says while it's exciting to watch the 24 seven coverage, it's important to realise the relationship will be as vibrant and strong as ever.
Brown told Mike Hosking that whoever the President will be it will have no effect to the future plans between the two countries.
Scott Brown leaves New Zealand next month to become Dean of a law school in Boston.
