Samantha Murton: Royal College of General Practitioners President on next year's record high intake of Specialist GPs

There\u2019s some good news for kiwis in need of a doctor. \xa0

The Royal College of General Practitioners will see their highest intake of specialist GPs next year.\xa0

239 graduates are starting their program, making a 25% increase.\xa0

College President Samantha Murton told Mike Hosking that while it\u2019s an enormous boost to the overall numbers, they still need lots more people to come in.\xa0

She said they need 317 people a year to ensure everyone can get appointments when needed.\xa0
