In the last few days MP Penny Mordaunt has been at the centre of speculation that she\u2019s trying to oust the prime minister, after which she\u2019ll step into his place.\xa0

UK Correspondent Rod Liddle told Mike Hosking that while there is disquiet within the Conservative Party\u2019s backbenches regarding Rishi Sunak\u2019s performance, a coup is unlikely.\xa0

He said the Tories aren\u2019t used to the fact that its them the country hates, not just Sunak, his trust, or those who came before.\xa0

People are sick of the conservatives, Liddle said.\xa0
