The Climate Change Commission's provided the government with advice on meeting climate goals. \xa0
Its 27 recommendations include supporting swapping from fossil fuels to renewable energy, encouraging switching to electric vehicles, and retrofitting buildings to be healthier and lower emissions.\xa0
Commission Chair Rod Carr told Mike Hosking that the Government's committed to New Zealand's climate targets and has been clear it'll make different policy choices. \xa0
He says the Commission's providing advice on the direction of policy, but at the end of the day, it's the elected leaders who will make the choices.\xa0
