No money means Aucklanders will likely have little to no events to look forward to beyond next year. \xa0
Auckland Unlimited has revealed to the council that no major events are confirmed in the city beyond August 2024 due to a lack of funding.\xa0
Events Director Richard Clarke told Mike Hosking that it's as bad as it sounds. \xa0
He says their Covid recovery funding from the central government expires at the end of next year.\xa0 \xa0
Clarke says their last funded event is Fashion Week next August.\xa0
