They've also agreed to reduce the flow of precursor chemicals from China to counter the US's fentanyl drug crisis.\xa0
On China's side, US Correspondent Richard Arnold told Mike Hosking that Xi criticized what he called America's efforts to contain China's growth.
He said that the two are engaging with each other but many of the key issues are still unsettled.\xa0
