The Boeing Starliner is set for launch tomorrow, years behind schedule and more than a billion dollars over budget. \xa0

US correspondent Richard Arnold tells Mike Hosking Boeing has struggled with all sorts of technical issues as they work to become the alternate space operator.\xa0

When it was tested for the first time, the Starliner had a computer problem that put it in the wrong orbit \u2013 detrimental if it were to have had people on board.\xa0

Plus, the emergence of trillions of cicadas is under way in parts of the US. The invasion is expected to last for six weeks.\xa0
