A kiwi company has figured out how to combine new AI technology with one of New Zealand\u2019s biggest industries.\xa0

Livestock Visibility Solutions has created Flow, a software designed to streamline cow movement from the yard to the milking shed.\xa0

The program automates the backing gate system, allowing for greater efficiency.\xa0

CEO Richard Appleby told Mike Hosking that it can only be done by AI, as it reacts so quickly to what\u2019s happening in the yard and needs to be able to adapt quickly.\xa0

He said it replaces what a person would do if they had total vision of the cows in their yard, and is able to make the call as to what the ideal density of cows is at any given time.\xa0
