An Amazon MGM Studios production is coming to Aotearoa, with\xa0Auckland\xa0announced as the primary shooting location for the star-studded project.\xa0

The Wrecking Crew\xa0will be directed by award-winning film-maker \xc1ngel Manuel Soto and feature an impressive cast including\xa0Aquaman\u2019s\xa0Jason Momoa,\xa0Guardians of the Galaxy\u2019s\xa0Dave Bautista, and New Zealand\u2019s own\xa0Temuera Morrison\xa0and\xa0Frankie Adams.\xa0

Philippa Mossman, Head of International Attraction and Marketing for the NZ Film Commission, told Mike Hosking the Commission does everything they can to incentivise filming in New Zealand.\xa0

She said the productions offer significant benefits in the short periods of time they film, including the huge injection of foreign money into the country, region, or community, that\u2019s spent on workers or businesses.\xa0
