Phil Anderson: Event Hire owner on their partnership with A&P to operate a slimmed down event

A Christchurch company has stepped in to save this year's Canterbury A&P show.\xa0

Event Hire's reached an agreement with the A&P association to operate a slimmed down version of the annual November event.\xa0

The partnership follows the A&P board calling it off due to its financial situation.\xa0

To be called the Christchurch Show, it will remain at the show grounds.\xa0

Event Hire owner Phil Anderson told Mike Hosking that discussions had been underway since the show was canned.\xa0

He says interest was sparked after they were asked by suppliers and vendors whether they could offer support.\xa0
