Sir Peter Jackson and Dame Fran Walsh have chipped in $2 million towards Victoria University's new National Music Centre.\xa0
It's also used by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and comes after revelations the Micheal Fowler Centre and Opera House were deemed earthquake prone.\xa0
Symphony Orchestra Chief Executive Peter Biggs told Mike Hosking this allows the orchestra to record music for films and games.\xa0
