Migration in and out of New Zealand is still at record levels.\xa0
Provisional estimates for February show more than 253,000 migrants arrived and about 122,000 left, putting net migration at almost 131,000.\xa0
Arrivals and departures are the highest on record, but net migration was down about 12 thousand from last November.\xa0
Massey University Sociologist Paul Spoonley told Mike Hosking that the large number of Asian immigrants entering New Zealand will have an impact on the cultural make up of the country.\xa0
He said that its primarily younger people coming over, so in 10 or 20 years we could be looking at a very different New Zealand.\xa0
