The principal of Auckland's Glendowie School Paul Crowhurst told Mike Hosking that they spent about $5000 on a full emergency management plan and on-site training.\xa0
He says school staff aren't experts in emergency management and the personalised plan for the school included the third-party coming in and assessing risks.\xa0
